(FK Univrab-Pekanbaru, 06/02/2023) Congratulations to Muhammad Wahyudi Azmi, Muhammad Habib Miftah Al Basyari, and Reyhan Alhafist Amdila for winning 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards in a recent biochemistry competition, the Biochemie Carnivale 2022.
The three students of Medical Faculty of Abdurrab University competed with other 60 students in competition held on October 8, 2022, hosted by Universiti Teknologi Mara, Malaysia, in collaboration with Abdurrab University, Indonesia.
This event provided undergraduate students with the opportunity to compete with their biochemistry knowledge through kahoot online quiz and being recognized as winners. The Biochemie Carnival 2022 opened by a lecture from Prof. Dr. Musalmah Mazlan (UiTM) “Understanding Diseases Throgh Enzymes and Biochemistry Payhways”, proceeded by dr. Deinike Wanita Marwan, M.Kes., AIFO-K (Univrab) lecture “Biochemical Basis of Disease” and Wahyu Ramadhan, S.Si, M.Sc (Univrab) lecture “Clinical Application of Biochemistry” with Sabrina Hayati, S.Si, M.Sc as moderator. The carnival also held story-telling video, cover song video, Gurindam Dua Belas poem recitation and both universities presentation.
Congratulations to the outstanding medical students from Abdurrab University in this competition. The enthusiasm, passion for science and learning you presented was applauded by the judges and serves as an inspiration for all.
